Get to know us

We are passionate about Patagonia; and to protect the environment, we have guided ourselves from the very beginning, by sustainable standards to develop conscious tourism. All of our installations and procedures are totally eco-friendly, because we have a deep connection with nature and we also have a strong commitment towards the protection of Patagonia.

Our History

Beginning

Patagonia Camp is a project that was born among a group of Chilean nature-loving enthusiasts, who accomplished multiple expeditions and scoutings between mountains, canals and fjords. With the idea of giving luxurious outdoor experiences to visitors, they decided to install an innovative concept in Torres del Paine, being the first ones in South America. Our devotion lies in living a connected experience with nature through all of our senses, staying in a luxury tent, and at the same time having the posibility of enjoying full comfort, such us central heating or ensuite bathroom.

Development

The compromise, love and respect for nature is the heart of this project, that is why all of the architecture of The Camp has been developed in an eco-friendly way. Our Yurts and boardwalks were built with minimal impact norms, bordering the trees and letting freedom flow, taking care of all of the details for the protection of the ecosystems that allow us to be in harmony with our surroundings. The buildings were done on wooden platforms elevated from the ground, on that way the flora keeps growing naturally. This concept allow us to be part of the landscape, as we are completely immerse in the native forest.

Project

Our project seeks an experience in which the traveler can live a “new luxury” adventure, since they will be staying in Yurts with all of the top commodities of a hotel-like room and will obtain the attention of a caring staff that will be aware to each one of the travelers requirements; at the same time, it is possible to enjoy intimate contact with Mother Nature, feeling a real bond with her. Being along the shore of the largest lake in the region, with privileged views towards the mountains, native evergreen trees and surrounded by endemic fauna, here is possible to live a unique nature experience.
